The Mission of Standing Committee of UCANZ

The Standing Committee of UCANZ is responsible for developing vision, policy and actions that encourages Cooperative Ventures throughout New Zealand in their Christian journey of Faith Witness and Unity and urges them to demonstrate this Faith by being the messengers of Christ’s unifying love and inclusiveness to all New Zealanders. 

Core Values of the Standing Committee

The Standing Committee carries out its Mission by close attention to the following core values.

• A commitment to the transforming power of the Grace and Love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
• Honouring and respecting the traditions of the Partner Churches in UCANZ while being proactive in seeking change that will enhance the mission of UCANZ.
• Working with and encouraging Cooperative Ventures to nurture unity in diversity amongst their communities.
• Honouring and upholding the principles of human rights amongst peoples of all ages and cultures.
• Seeking to bring the love of Christ to the people of New Zealand.
